May 2020 - Current
I'm currently a Teaching Assistant for 15-150, Principles of Functional Programming, at Carnegie Mellon University. It's the third or fourth core computer science class that students in the School of Computer Science take. The caveat is that it's taught in Standard ML, a heavily academic language that's used in research for programming language theory at CMU. There's not much out there on SML, but it's a really beautiful language with features like pattern matching and user-defined extensible types. As part of an effort to increase the resources available about SML, the 150 course staff is currently writing this help book!
